While I upload as many as possible to the website, I get so many incredible finds that Instagram is the fastest way to snag them before they’re gone! Ellie Preloved designer Consignment Terms and Conditions 

At Ellie Preloved designer we curate beautiful garments and accessories in on trend styles that are a diverse and eclectic mix of both local and international mid to high end designer brands.

We love sourcing brands that are harder to find , such as European labels not as easily found in Australia and smaller, sustainable and independent labels.

We also have a great range of local cult favourites i.e. Zimmermann, Aje, Alemais, Scanlan Theodore, Lee Mathews, Camilla and Marc.

We do not take fast fashion brands. 
As a guide when considering items to sell, if your items are outdated in terms of style and more than 3-4 years old , we won’t consign them.

What are our commission fees?

We take 40% of the final sale price of the garment which is inclusive of GST. The client receives 60% of the final sale price.

Included in the service we provide our consigners are the following;

Once items have been selected and agreed upon to consign, we offer collection of the garments if Melbourne based.

laundering of garments if required

researching and pricing your garments and compiling your consignment record including regular updates as items sell

steaming, hanging garments

styling your garments with in house models 

promoting and selling your garments on Instagram, in the shop front and on our website.

We pay out consigners within a week of sales.

How do we price your items?

When pricing items we take into consideration the following;

The age and style of the garment , how on trend it is

the RRP of the item 

How coveted the item or brand is on the preloved market 

what similar items and brands have sold for on other preloved designer platforms

the condition of the garment , ie worn, excellent, or new.

How do I find you? I need directions.

I am located at 40 Balcombe Road, Mentone. Right between the orange Frame shop and the mechanics. In Bloom Horticulture is a pink shop, when you walk in you will see the front part is the most amazing indoor plant and gift shop. There is a door to the right of the shop that takes you through to the Green Space which is where my shop is Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
